Dr & Hon. Major Deepak Rao UCCA Unconventional Commando Combat Academy
UCCA is an org made of veteran Trainers for Indian Forces, Ex Army Officers headed by Major Deepak Rao & other accomplished Specialists involved in the area of modernization of Close Quarter Battle training.
UCCA voluntarily trains Indian forces under invitation of Force HQs/Commanders via various capsule courses conducted at force locations without compensation, as a selfless service to the Nation.
Dr Hon. Major Deepak Rao and the UCCA Directors have pioneered the CQB revolution & have been honored by the Indian govt with Army Chief Citation for efforts in modernization of training & official Home Ministers Appreciation letter to put on record the laudable service in the area of training for anti terror operations.
The UCCA Directors Dr. Major Deepak Rao & Dr Seema Rao were appointed as Resource Personnel for Modern Close Combat Op Training by Ministry of Home Affairs under Direct Approval of the Home Secretary of India for the purpose of training 28 states.
CLOSE QUARTER BATTLE
CQB or Close Quarter Battle is team on team combat from distant range of firearm combat to proximal range of hand to hand combat, generally defined as 30 yards, but extendable to 100m.
